📚 Our Curriculum
Our six-week interview masterclass is packed with entry to staff-level concepts covered in interviews across various data analytics and data scientist roles from companies like McKinsey to Uber. We will provide the structure you need to cover most of the grounds for your upcoming data scientist interview.
Week 1 - Applied Statistics
Get exposure to Google-style applied statistics questions, case questions, and coverage of basic to advanced level concepts.
Week 2 - Data Science Coding
No, coding rounds in data science interviews are not just LeetCode-style questions. Get the comprehensive set of DS coding questions with detailed solution walkthrough.
Week 3 - Product SQL / Behavioral & Leadership
We will start our first class of this week with Product SQL covering intermediate and advanced SQL questions (e.g. query optimization) in the context of product-focused data. Then, we will end the week by covering core tips on behavioral & leadership interview, along with tips on resume, recruiter screen and offer negotiation.
Week 4 - Machine Learning & ML Ops
We will review fundamentals of ML, applied ML questions and cover easy-to hard-level ML questions. Plus, we will cover ML productionzation interview questions in the ML Ops section.
Week 5 - Product Sense & AB Testing
We will cover product-based interview questions such as product metrics, metric investigation, opportunity sizing and product improvement asked in product data science roles. Then, you will learn the building blocks of AB testing and advanced AB testing techniques such as mult-armed bandit.
Week 6 - Causal Inference
Causal Inference is a black box for many candidates. We will teach you how to approach how to identify causal inference case questions and solution templates on to approach causal inference cases.
Our Cohort Schedule

- How hands-on will the instructors be over the course of the masterclass?
- The instructors are experienced professionals in data science and interviewing. We will address all the questions you have during and, via, slack message and email over the course of the masterclass.
- What happens after I enroll?
- You will receive Google Meet invite for your classes, 1-year course subscription access and Slack invite.
- What if I miss out on one of the live classes? Will I be able to watch the recording?
- Yes, all the classes will be archived for you to watch and re-watch should you miss the class or you just simply want to review.
- What does the Personalized Track entail?
- You will get 3 x 1-hour 1:1 session time with the instructor of your choice + resume feedback on top of all the class access. The 1:1 session time will be part mentorship or purely mock interview - depending on what you request.
- What if I lack prior experience as a data science. Is this still right for me?
- The masterclass presumes that you have taken at least one or two beginner level course in python programming, data science, statistics, and/or machine learning.
- I do not know how to code. Should I still take the masterclass?
- We do not recommend that you take the masterclass if you do not know how to code just yet. We recommend that you brush up on basics of python coding prior to taking the interview masterclass.
- Is it possible to pay in installments?
- Absolutely, we can provide a payment plan that allows you purchase the masterclass in three installments. You can email contact@datainterview.com to get this set up.
